Pre-Repair Inspection
My LAA inspector popped around earlier to take a look at the aeroplane, to make sure that the repairs so far have been done properly. This is the inspection before I begin the fibreglass repairs proper, as he needs to check that the area I’m repairing in is OK, and that I won’t be covering up any nasty surprises. In short, everything looks good, and I can begin my repairs.
But before that can begin, the aeroplane needs to move from the megashed in the garden, to a larger workshop, so that I can fit the wings, so ensure the repaired areas align properly with the wings.
